Knicks Win Game 2 by the Skin of Their Teeth
Friday night at the AT&T Center was tense and chaotic, just like a Finals game should be. The Knicks managed to hold off a Spurs comeback to win Game 2, 105-104.
San Antonio came out strong and led the game in the first half. The Knicks fought back with a dominant 31-point second quarter that turned the game around for them. Victor Wembanyama led all scorers with 29 points, but it wasn't enough to give San Antonio the win.
Karl-Anthony Towns was the Knick's man of the match, finishing with 21 points and 13 rebounds with a 66% shooting percentage. Mikal Bridges added 20 points, making an impressive 66.7% from three-point range.
Jalen Brunson had a poor shooting night, going 7-of-25, but still contributed 20 points and five steals.
